Installation

Prerequisites

NetterTech Events Pro requires the free NetterTech Events plugin to be installed and active before Pro will load. Pro extends the base plugin – it does not replace it.

You also need:

• WordPress 6.4 or newer
• PHP 8.2 or newer
• WooCommerce 8.5 or newer (Pro’s commercial features integrate with WooCommerce cart and checkout)

Install

1. Download the Pro plugin zip from your NetterTech account.
2. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Choose the zip file and click Install Now.
4. After install completes, click Activate Plugin.

On first activation, Pro creates its database tables and adds new menu items under Events: Promo Codes, Waitlist, Reports, and Export.

Activate your license

1. Go to Events → Settings in the WordPress admin.
2. Scroll to the License section.
3. Enter your license key and click Save Changes.
4. The license status will display confirming activation.

Your license key is tied to a single domain. See the License Activation page for details on license states, renewals, and transferring between domains.

Verify the install

After activating the license, confirm Pro is running:

• The Events menu should include Promo Codes, Waitlist, and Reports submenus.
• Editing an event should show the Promo Codes field in the sidebar.
• The checkout page on the frontend should show a Promo Code input above the order totals.
