Event management for WordPress, done right.

License activation

NetterTech Events Pro requires a valid license to unlock its commercial features. Licenses are tied to a single domain.

Activating a license

After installing the Pro plugin (see Installation):

  1. Navigate to Events → Settings in the WordPress admin.
  2. Scroll to the License section.
  3. Enter your license key in the input field.
  4. Click Save Changes.

The license status will display confirming activation and showing your expiration date.

License status indicators

The License section shows one of these states:

StateMeaning
ActiveLicense is valid and all Pro features are unlocked.
InactiveNo license key entered, or the key has been deactivated. Pro features are locked.
ExpiredLicense was valid but the renewal window has closed. Pro features continue to work until the next plugin update, after which they lock.
InvalidKey doesn’t match our records. Double-check for typos or contact support.

Renewals

Licenses renew automatically on the plan’s anniversary unless you cancel. If a renewal payment fails, you’ll receive email notifications before the expiration date.

An expired license does not immediately break your site:

  • Existing data remains in place.
  • Pro admin pages continue to load.
  • Pro features keep working until the next plugin update.
  • After the next update, Pro features will show a “license required” notice and stop processing new orders / waitlist promotions / report generation.

You can renew at any time without losing data.

Transferring between domains

Your license key is tied to one domain at a time. If you’re moving your site:

  1. On the old domain, clear the license key and click Save Changes. This deactivates the key.
  2. On the new domain, install Pro and enter the same license key.

If the old site is already gone (broken migration, dead host), contact support and we’ll deactivate the key server-side so you can use it on the new domain.
